About Sara

Sara Schmidt is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and creative director with 25 years of experience in architecture, brand experience, and product design. Her work is driven by a deep appreciation for craft, beauty, and sustainability, with a focus on creating thoughtful, lasting designs that connect with people and the communities they serve.

Working at the intersection of architecture, brand, and product, she explores how color, graphics, material, and storytelling shape human experience. Her approach blends research and intuition, structure and experimentation, always striving to create work that feels both considered and immersive. Collaboration is central to her practice—she enjoys working with designers, architects, business leaders, and brands to develop meaningful, material-rich projects, from spatial experiences to product design.

She holds an MFA in Media Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and studied in the Interior Architecture Program at the University of Oregon.
